New release of Coloured Inversion and Spectral Blueing
Tuesday, 27 April 2010 08:20
During the first half of the year our team has released two versions of our flagship spectral shaping software Seismic Coloured Inversion and Seismic Spectral Blueing.
Other releases are planned for later in the year. See release notes for V2.96 and V3.0 below.
Release Notes
SciQt V3.0
1) New feature to load traces from 3D SEGY file
2) Loading of 2D data is now supported
SciQt V2.96
1) Now built for Red Hat 4.6 and later
2) Tapers (previously called "Ramps") are applied to traces before FFT as well as to logs: see Advanced Controls dialog
3) Alpha, DC and F-Shift are shown for individual logs in the parameter report; individual log curve fits are also available for display
4) Traces and logs exported from a session (File->Import/Export->Export Data Item) may be imported again later (File->Import/Export->Import Data Items) as a QC tool, without access to the original project
5) Auto Calc will not truncate the operator at all if truncation leaves less than 99.9% of energy
6) The obsolete De-trend toggle has been removed from the Advanced Controls dialog: by default, de-trending will always be on
7) The Set Operator Energy = 1 option is applied after operator truncation rather than before
8) The Reload Wells button re-reads data from the database rather than un-hiding previously cleared wells
9) 3dv files may be created with longer file names
10) The user is warned if data specified in a session file cannot be loaded
11) Ascii wavelet files may use extensions other than .wav
12) Correctly distinguishes different wells with the same name
13) Horizons without a Time attribute will not crash the software
