ARK CLS to develop software using Qt

ARK CLS is to develop using Qt. Qt is an object orientated cross plateform development environment from Trolltech. Adrian Bennetton (ARK CLS's managing director) says that developing applications using Qt will allow us to future proof our software. It will provide us with a rich set of tools to design and build robust products. Qt will allow ARK CLS to build native application software, so performance will not be compromised, on either Unix (including Linux) and Windows environments from the same source code. We expect to be able to develop software (both bespoke and commercial products) faster and more efficiently than ever before. Qt has adoped by other major software vendors in our industry including dGB, PGS and Veritas.
