ARK CLS announces beta release of ITK V1.5

In September 2003 ARK CLS announced the beta release of its Ideal Toolkit (ITK) V1.5. The ITK V1.5 update now supports the reading of well data objects from either Landmark's OpenWorks/SeisWorks or Schlumberger's GeoFrame data repositories. Functions are provided which allow: wireline log data, well deviation data, depth time data and marker data, to be accessed.

ARK CLS's ITK provides a common transparent interface to seismic, interpretation and well data objects stored in the major exploration databases used within the oil and gas industry. Using ARK CLS's ITK, which is a simple self contained library, frees third party developers from the complexities of linking in OpenWorks/SeisWorks and GeoFrame libraries to there applications. Our ITK can automatically determine which interpretation environment the third party application is running and invoke the appropriate connection.
