Seismic Coloured Inversion V2.3.1 release notes

1) This release fixes a bug which can cause incorrect OpenWorks well data to be retrieved if well data is manually selected.

2) Improved behaviour of OpenWorks well selection list functionality when the "Automatic Well Select" is not enabled.

Seismic Coloured Inversion V2.3 release notes

1) This release fixes bug which can cause SCI application to hang when applying the SCI operator on a multi-processor machine.

2) Fixes other minor bugs.

3) Replaces the two ASCII Well Input lists "Available Files" (LH) and "Selected Well Data" (RH) with a single list "Available Files". In previous versions of SCI, it was necessary to click on LH list to select and deselect. However, what appeared in the RH list didn't always line up with what was in the LH list when some of the wells were deselected. This has led to a considerable amount of confusion.

4) User now has control on what well attributes appear and in what position within the ASCII "Available Files" list. Available attributes are: "Well Name", "Curve Name" (currently only IMP), "File Name", "Horizon Time", "X/Y Coordinates" and "Inline/Xline". This additional information is provided by the User by editing the ASCII well files. In Landmark syntool ASCII files, for example, the User would edit the second record in these files (blank line) to add one or more of the following meta data attributes as follows:

<inline> inline value here </inline>
<xline> xline value here </xline>
<horztime> horizon time value here </horztime>
<xcoord> x coordinate here </xcoord>
<ycoord> y coordinate here </ycoord>

Note: ARK CLS recommends that you only supply inline and xline. In this way, horizon data read from the horizon file using the inline/xline supplied data. The above functionality is only available for SeisWorks.

5) Replaces the two Database Well Input lists "Available Time Converted Logs" (LH) and "Selected Well Data" (RH) with a single list "Available Time Converted Logs". In previous versions of SCI, it was necessary to click on LH list to select and deselect. However, what appeared in the RH list didn't always line up with what was in the LH list when some of the wells were deselected. This has led to a considerable amount of confusion.

6) User now has control on what well attributes appear and in what position within the Database "Available Time Converted Logs" list. Available attributes are: "Well Name", "Well Common Name", "Well UWI", "Curve Name", "Remark", "Horizon Time", "X/Y Coordinates" and "Inline/Xline". The above functionality is only available for SeisWorks.

7) Enhanced list filtering.

8) Add 3D SEGY processing capability.
